Cher started her career in the 1960’s with Sonny Bono. Together the pair released “I Got You Babe” in 1965 which became a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 list. This song catapulted Sonny and Cher into stardom and eventually they would appear in their own television comedy show in the 70’s.
